WHY AM I DOING THIS?
Hi. My name is davepettigrew. I'm a christian recording artist from New Jersey. I've been at this for about 12 years. We've been fortunate enough to open for and tour with bands like MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, For King & Country, Brandon Heath, Paul Baloche, Michael W. Smith, the list goes on. I'm a World Vision Artist and we love to see kids get sponsored at shows. Truly the love of Jesus in action. I started a movement this year called the There Is Hope Movement. It's in honor of my nephew Ryan who died of a heroin overdose on Good Friday in April, 2017 in my home. The There Is Hope Movement exists to change lives. To save lives. To help those struggling with addictions. To bring hope to those who can't find hope. To share the hope of Jesus.
We're a ministry of 4 guys that just want to see Jesus move in and around the New York Tri-State area and beyond. I'm an independent artist. I don't have a label. I believe we, together, you and me, can be the label. You, me, others reading and signing up for this experiment.
This is my ninth release. The first full length album in many years. I'm calling this an experiment. I want you, the supporters of christian music and christian ministries to be my label. I want you to have the music. I want you to be a part of something amazing. I want us to be part of something amazing. Jesus is here, moving, we need to share that with others. We exist to lead people closer to Jesus through nights of worship and prayer and through the music He's given us. That music is about to be given to you.
I'm humbled and honored that you'd want to be a part of this experiment. This ministry, for the last 10 years, has been driven by the fans. We've been driven by the stories you tell us at shows. We've been driven by praying with you at shows. We've been driven by hearing your prayers being answered. We've been driven by seeing you be the love of Jesus to others. We've been driven by our desire to see lives changed through the There Is Hope Movement. Lives being saved from addiction. Lives being set free.
I was born in Rhode Island and moved to New York when I was 21. I love music. I breath music. It feeds my soul. There are days when I just have to sing to connect with God. That's how I connect with Him. Through worship, through singing and leading worship. I can't stop because it's not in my being to stop. I see Jesus in music. I see Him in between the notes and the melodies. I see Him move through a room when we're leading worship and I see Him change lives. I truly believe that Worship Changes Things.
So here we are. We're about to embark on this 11 day journey through this new album called Faith And Gasoline. I don't know what's going to happen. I don't know if you're going to love it or hate it. I've never done this before. I spent ALOT of money to record, produce, mix and master this album and now the PR, promotion and marketing of the album is costing even more. Some people say that I'm crazy for giving it away. I just want the music to get into your hands. I want you to tell your friends about this Journey that we're going on together. I'm excited about what's going to happen. And nervous.
Join me. Walk through this album with me. Let's be part of something new, different and hopefully exciting together! I know it's a commitment. I get it. We're all in this together. We'll have a facebook group where we'll be discussing all of this. Join us. Can't wait to see you on the other side.
Join up below. Your journey begins today, don't miss it! I can't thank you enough for being here. Really. Thank you.
